So I am a ux researcher, not new to programming and have experience writing codes for research/data processing/demoing concepts (Unity/C# for VR projects and python for DSP, data analysis, and visualization) but no way near the SWE and have not done LC. A few days back a staffing agency reached out and say they have a contract prototyper position with Meta and wants someone who have worked with Unity before. I say Yes and they quickly scheduled me for an interview with HM at Meta that will take place in the next few days. Upon receiving an interview request, I noticed there is a 45 mins code pad session which I assume it is for a coding interview. I have never done a coding interview before and also not done any LC so now I am not sure if I should still do the interview or not. Definitely don't went to make the HM feel what the hell is this person doing here....... If you feel I should still do it. are there any tips on how to get myself prepared? Especially for someone who have never done one before...... TC 250k (layoff) -> 115k (current) YOE: 8 Edit: Tried LC and was able do some Easy and maybe a few Medium but I will need a lot of time, way more than what I saw people suggested that Easy within 10 mins Medium within 20 mins.......
just learn to code
