Invited to IPO. Invest?
I was invited to invest in Udemy and Backblaze this week for their IPOs Max is roughly 20000 each. Never been invited to do an IPO and it is an insane accident I got invited to two in one week. Do these things almost always pop?
This was a direct invite as being a customer of each.
Never heard of such invites...
Each one was like “we have a 5% reservation for customers”. It is an odd thing that I got two in a week but I have legit friends at each company that verified the authenticity
At what price?
IPO price. 27-29 for Udemy. Not sure on backblaze yet.

I personally wish the best for udemy and hope it goes up far. But I don't know how they're profiting by charging only $10 per course
I think they’re moving to subscription model soon. I work with a top Udemy instructor on making courses and that’s what he mentioned is coming.

Interviewed at Backblaze earlier this year. Wasn't impressed with their tech, but culture seemed good.
