Commercial Insurance Underwriter Pay
Does anyone know what current pay looks like for a commercial underwriter with 2-3 YOE is? I'm talking about at big insurers like Allianz, Chubb, Zurich, etc. I know first year trainees straight out of college at Allianz are being offered 75k + 10k bonus right now.

Depends on what levels of UW. Senior uw should make 120k+. So id say with 2-3 yoe you should be close to being a Senior UW. With that experience Iโd say 90-100k.

In specialty lines, you should be at $115k+ if switching companies with 2 YOE
Are you an actuary?
No, an underwriter. It's quite a bit different than what actuaries do.
Then no good pay.
