RSU refresh at MS for remote employee in tax free Texas

As a remote SWE in Azure Global, I am thinking of moving out to a tax free state like Texas or Florida from Bay Area. Will my future TC be negatively impacted ie lower raise, lower or no RSU refresh, lesser annual bonus, or am I overthinking this? My team is based in Redmond, and I visit one week out of every 5-6 weeks, sometimes more frequently around customer deployments, which I will continue to do. Only reason to want to move out of Bay Area is the high cost of living and state taxes. Appreciate some insights, especially those who made the move.

You know WA doesn't have income tax either, and being in Redmond would be better for your career, right? Being a SWE in Azure Global is probably not good for your career, but that's a different thread.

Texas as no income taxes, but property taxes are high (like California high) to make up for it.

Ca property tax rate is much lower than Texas.

If you want to be remote and are worried about taxes and also promotion/raises, why not try Vancouver, Washington? You'll still be in Washington, and thus have Microsoft's regular Washington pay brackets + no state income tax like Texas and , you'll be over the bridge from Portland (no sales tax) and right next to a big city

WA State Democrats are doing everything in their power to institute an income tax on stock bonuses. Do everything you can to avoid that. Move if need be.
