Does anyone know companies that are resetting RSU target prices, or doing other things to make up for the large drop so many tech companies are facing? Seems strange so many people are in the boat where it would be beneficial to quit and get rehired and reset a 3-4 year target rsu price. Curious what companies are doing to try to fix the long term incentive. #rsu #rsu #comp
I've heard whispers of this at Carvana, but think it's based on those who have been with the company for X years
My guess is that companies are tightening the belt… I wouldn’t expect any of those luxuries unless you’re at a really big tech co(Microsoft, amazon, goog, etc.). Otherwise, I’d expect to hang on tight, get through whatever this is, and build essential knowledge and work towards promo.
Nothing will happen until the dust settles
Not gonna happen
Lyft announced they would offer equity to make up for stock drop (probably due to very high attrition). Uber has said “no”. But employees who were eligible (I was not, too new, <6 months) got extra stock grants back around March. Too bad the stock has dropped ~33% since then
