Booz Allen Hamilton in Seattle area
Have a recruiter after me from BAH in the Seattle area. I’m not unhappy with my role at Boeing, but the BAH gig is waaaaaaay closer to my house which makes it tempting. My current commute to Boeing is atrocious. How is Booz comp? I’m at 108k base and like a 3k bonus/yr. Boeing does 6% 401k match that vests immediately. I’m hesitant to jump from Boeing though as it’s one of the better aerospace companies as far as comp, wlb and benefits. Any Booz folks care to chime in? This job is in federal cyber security.
So, where I am at, Booz Allen doesn’t give bonuses. I’m not sure if that’s different in Seattle or not. BAH does 100% up to 6% But that happens in February. If you leave before February, you won’t get the money. In terms of base, I think you can get higher than 108. WLB has been good to me. I come in by 9:30 every day and am remote every Friday. I’m leaving now for Microsoft.

What the benefits package states is that if you work/contribute as of the last day of the year, even if you leave january 1st you will receive the matching contribution in february.
