Moving Geographies from UK to US

Hey Guys, I'm an Indian with an MBA from Oxford University in the UK. With 9 years of experience in tech (Digital Consulting, Product Management), I'm now looking to move to the US for product roles. Any ideas on how to apply for companies that would also help sponsoring visas? Really appreciate your help. Thanks! #US #usaa #productmanagement #consulting #transfer #immigration #h1b #l1

if you don't have anything positive to contribute, why speak?

Why you also want to migrate to US and are searching for companies who can sponsor you

Some details of H1B applications are publicly available, so at least you can identify the employers and roles that they hire immigrants for.

Get in companies with US offices and move internally. No one will bring you directly.

Join a US company in UK... Stay for a year and then try get an L1/2 Visa for the US. (It binds you to that company though)

With 9 years of experience I doubt your college brand will matter any more. Your work exp should do the talking and not college brand. Easiest option is join companies in their UK office and do an internal transfer. I doubt anyone will hire you on a L1 or H1 externally.

You cant hire on L1, it is strictly an inter company transfer visa

Yea, thought so.

Where in India are you from?

H1b sponsorship directly is very hard, since there's lottery involved, plus you start 6 months after the lottery. Its really a big hassle for a company to go through. I doubt if many companies do this.

You cannot get an h1b until October of 2022, so find a company which has offices in uk/Europe and us and get a transfer on L1 visa.

Try Amazon Japan ,then internal transfer to L1. Uk job market is fiercely competitive
