It's hard but definitely doable. Do your research. Start young and train for them to be comfortable staying alone at home when you're at work.
How’s your pet school district? How much you get in tax credits per puppy?
.
Definitely not. I work from home and got me a puppy, it's a handful. I know they all look beautiful and you just want to have one but it's a lot of work to care for a young pup and they need more attention than you can give if you'll be gone all day for work.
Dont, seriously, read the puppy101 subreddit. They are a lot of work, for a long time. I'm sure it's doable but life will suck for a long time.
Cheers will do
Terrible fucking idea - the urge to have a dog is a vestigial gene from when it was actually useful enough to have an animal hunt and protect you to make up for pissing/shitting in your abode and fucking up your conference calls from home.
I have a shih tzu. God they are adorable but he refuses to stay inside his house. And always wants to be cuddled. His favorite pass time is unplugging all the cables.
That’s the cutest thing ever😍
not doable
Spend money in the first few weeks for pro training. It will determine the next 15+ yrs of the pups behavior

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Which breed are you thinking?
A smart looking medium good boye, like a Shiba Inu (lmao meme dog). I like to run so exercise is fine, just worried it’s cruel to leave a pup at home.
Same boat.. although I’d rather have a goldie or siberian husky. Have you considered adoption? Shelters and rescue groups often include vaccinations, microchipping, and spaying or neutering in the adoption fee. Also Most preowned dogs are house trained. Heard SF just had Corgi Con over the weekend.
