Not talking about difficulty of individual questions, let's rank the bar to pass interview in general for FAANGMULA. Talking about SWE stream. I'll start. 1st tier (most difficult): Google >= Facebook 2nd tier: Netflix = LinkedIn > Apple 3rd tier: Airbnb > Uber = Microsoft > Amazon Do you agree with the tiering and internal ranks? What's your experience?
Netflix and Airbnb seem to be harder than G/FB from my anecdotal experience with friends who work there and have gotten multiple offers.
Netflix probably yes because they ask more than leetcode. I think Airbnb's bar dropped a lot after IPO.
Uber and airbnb in tier 4. LinkedIn tier 3.
Depends on tech vs. non tech Ops vs. non Ops teams Non Ops teams still have a pretty decent bar at Amazon compared to Microsoft. Netflix is tougher than Facebook Google, Facebook, Netflix same tier
My experience for mid level role. Uber = Apple > Microsoft = Amazon G and F have more LC problems (no dp nowadays), Uber and Apple ask design questions like Databricks (design malloc, hashmap, page swap etc) Microsoft and Amazon cares more about BQs.
Google has also dropped dp questions now?
Amazon asks BQ yes. Microsoft is still lc heavy, although easier than GF.
Fb interview is definitely not that hard. Literally memorizing lc and that’s it. L is Lyft I thought?
What?
Google > Netflix > Uber > Facebook > Airbnb > Apple = Microsoft = LinkedIn > Amazon. This is from my own experience. Uber interviews are harder than Facebook and no way it comes in tier 3. None of my on-site rounds for Uber were from LC. Facebook interviews were just direct LC hard questions. LinkedIn won’t come under tier 2. It’s interviews are much easier if you practice lc tagged LinkedIn questions.
But LinkedIn is still selective because hard part of LinkedIn interviews are from sys design and concurrency coding
Lol I can clear amazon interviews with my eyes closed. Facebook is fairly easy.

Has Google lost its soul?
Thought Airbnb was supposed to have the hardest interviews
True when it was pre-ipo. People are leaving there nowadays.
So you admit that you are at amazon and shitty
