I spent 7 years working a job just to rub elbows with a legendary programmer on that team (was amazing, despite the pay cut). Back to rat race for now, until something equally cool comes up

I quit a high paying job for lower paid stress free job, I don’t wish to leave ever. I still save a lot of money since I am handsomely paid. We get 40 days off a year including Christmas break. I am traveling far more and I don’t wake up any day with workplace related stress.

Before kids, chase the cash. It can’t be done afterwards at anywhere near the same ability

I’ve got lots of friends with fancier titles but I’m cool with my significantly higher TC :)
