what do you guys think about the new AA flight from Seattle to bangalore ? #americanairlines #amazon #microsoft #boeing
Tough market to make money in, but maybe will have enough local traffic from SEA to help. India is typically a low yield market though which is why there is limited service from domestic carriers.
We’re going to lose out on flying to China, Hong Kong for sometime this year and bleak demand after that. So it’s a calculated gamble considering the business travel from tech companies.
BLR has the highest yield among Indian airports to/from NA/EU. Very difficult to get J seats in BA/LH/AF/QR/EK just a week or two out.
I'd fly Emirates instead, but American is going to be an interesting player to watch as we become more integrated into the Oneworld alliance. For guests based in SEA, increased int'l competition and route expansion will only drive prices down, service quality up, and further drive expansion of SeaTacs network. 🙌
Well I’m sure excited to get free standby on American!
I am gonna be ahead of you 😎 just kidding 😃 Bangalore is my hometown! Happy to help with any information you need before traveling.
That’s cool, I was more excited about london. But I’m down for some Indian food
