Rate my Arista India offer
Years of Experience: 6.5yrs (B.Tech in ECE from IIT) Title/Level: Software Engineer, Location: Bangalore Salary: 35,00,000 INR Retirals: 2,94,000 Signing Bonus: 3,00,000 INR Retention Bonus: 4,00,000 INR (Paid after 1yr) Stock bonus: 50,000$ Over 4 Years Total comp (Salary + Bonus + Stock + Retirals): ~55,00,000 INR for 1st yr Second year salary: ~ 48,00,000 INR Negotiated a bit but they are willing to just change base by 1Lakhs Is there any room for more negotiation? How is arista network's work culture? Is there any stock refresher given to employees yearly basis based on performance? Currently, they arent promising anything on the performance bonuses. Is it there? They say it could vary from 0 to 10Lakhs. Arista as of now is fully remote, you are expected to show up 2days/week in office starting Jan 23
Performance Bonus - Variable and not a percent of the base (nor capped by it). Depends on how the company did and how you did as an individual, devoid of your position. Know someone at 3 YOE who got 5-5.5 lakh, but as you mentioned, it truly is variable and you wouldn't want to assume you'll get atleast X lakh. Base - Have heard of people getting more at this YOE, but I do not how you would negotiate. Stock refreshers - Again, no rule of thumb but know someone who got 75% on top of their initial grant a while ago so it you got 100 shares every year, you get 175 now). But this isn't every year. I think you have to spend some time to get rsu bumps, so it is less likely you'll get this at the end of your first year. Maybe a bump in base pay. Offer looks decent. The stock is trading pretty low due to the economic conditions. If things rebound, it could increase by 50% - This is me relaying what I read online, mostly analysts who out out their target numbers out)

And hows job stability and work life balance? Do they have strict rto plan?
Sorry for off the topic. What is the working mode in ARM and Arista. If it's a hybrid usually how many days/week? What are the chances of full remote?
