No ETFs? What does your retirement portfolio look like?
Oh shit I forgot to add those in.. updating now
Bro u trade on margin?
Don’t trade. Invest. And yes, at 2.5% margin I believe it is worthwhile as long as you use it in a safe way. Currently it’s under 25% of the value of our total portfolio which is what I would consider to be safe. The margin maintenance is 10k, which we can comfortably maintain with our income if we had to.
i would invest more in 401k and do stock trading there with brokerage link to avoid taxes
+1. I'd max out on 401k, then on any mega backdoor Roth IRA/HSA before putting money into taxable accounts
start reallocating Tesla
Why DBX?
at some point it was good stock
Was.
Too much tech for someone already working in this industry. I’d get rid of the margin and slim down those heavy positions. Probably add small or mid cap etf for diversification.
If tech somehow crashes you’re fucked
Get some index funds - material, copper, utilities, REITs, international, small/mid-cap. Diversify your risk.
