Fintech: 245k (175k base + 50k bonus + 20k sign-on) Citi: ~250k (180k base + expected 70k bonus) Fintech is for quant developer position. Citi is for risk VP. Bonus might be more variable for citi, and I worry that the fintech, being a smaller firm, might have long hours and low bonus. Ultimate goal is to move to front office (trading/structuring) TC: 200k YOE: 5
Citi, Fintech isn't a good place right now.
Vote for Citi but don't count on bonus .again it could vary based on the group .but was pretty bad for tech or digital.
This will be risk within capital markets. Hopefully that means the bonus will be higher than other risk functions
Is this for a C14 ? That kind of bonus is unheard of at Citi for C13s
This is for front office risk, so the bonus is not in writing. The hiring manager said 250k TC is likely
Citi, but make a poll
just created one (I’m a noob)
Don’t think you would get more than 20% as bonus
+1 and this is on a good day .. but good luck OP, hope you get that expected bonus 👍
The role is within ICG-MKTS . Are the bonuses there that low?
Citi will likely also have long hours, just saying
Risk=long hrs
bonus of 40% in Citi is unheard of
Is this NYC? TC seems almost like SVP level but I’m not sure about the ICG side. Also depending on your team they may ask you to come in 3-5 days per week
NYC
Vote for citi , fintech will go died during the depression
