I was rejected from Amazon about 4 months ago. They told me to try after 12 months. In the meantime I was reached out through LinkedIn from another country. Will I proceed it or not? What difficulties may I face if I proceed? #engineering #software #swe

I think official cooldown used to be 6 months, idk if they changed their policy, but I know in the past if you tried to reinterview before 6 months theyβd ask you to wait
Do it. You gonna end up in the pip anyway so why delay it?
Probably will be ghosted. 50% of amazon recruiter messages i receive on linkedin have never gotten response.
Bar lowered.
1 pip please
It is very rare for someone to be hired if they were rejected in the past two years. Reapplying after one year isnβt going to help you unless you know where you went wrong and fix it before then.
They'll look you up and ask you to wait for 6 months if it's too soon π±
People reached out from LinkedIn isn't going to know until you applied. So once you applied and they wanted you to wait longer, they will let you know. Unless you did many improvement and let recruiter knows
