Re org - restructuring at Facebook
Has there been a restructuring / re-org at Facebook outside of US? Earlier it seemed the Country Head / VP and MD of other geographies - EU, APAC, India etc were only responsible for sales and marketing; now it seems they’ll also lead corporate functions, regulatory and government and partnerships / BD. So they’ll lead everything within a particular geography apparently. Any FB folks around here? Is FB pivoting to a county structure outside US? What about functional leads? Do they also report on a dotted line to the functional leads - e.g marketplace partnerships lead for APAC reporting also to global marketplace partnerships lead along with APAC MD?

We are creating a new version of Facebook in each country with its own CEO. Strangely, each one will have its own legal, hr, eng, product teams and no country’s team is allowed to talk to the other teams. Should be interesting.
Sounds super. How about partnerships / BD? Do they report to the CEO too? Who do these CEOs report to?
These CEOs are going to report to a regional CEO in charge of two countries who will report to the CEO of the block of four countries so on and so forth all the way up to zuck. It will be very streamlined.
