While considering buying a property, has anyone gone with their friend as the agent who hasn’t sold anything yet as they are new to their career? Pros and cons? TC: 💩 im at EY
Generally I don't like to involve friends or family unless it's a win win. Example, my cousins brother needed a job so I asked him to do my fence. I paid him same as any other contractor, he did a shi**y job and now I can't even do anything. Now if he had done the work at a cheaper rate that would be something else. I got terrible work done at the market rate. If your friend is will to give you a discount, I would do it otherwise why bother
They typically get 2-4% from seller. Discuss with them a percentage of that amount could be credited to you based on their skills and efforts
Ok this is a very initial thought. I don’t know what 2-4% from seller means.

Never do that. You will get way worse service. Unless they are giving 2% back to you it's nogo
