Work VisaFeb 22, 2020

Recent call with a Google Recruiter

I had a call with Google recruiter this week. He asked me a question that if i have any restriction to work for any company and if i need any work sponsorship now or in the future. Since, i am on h1b visa so i told him that i need a visa sponsership. He wasn't very sure if hiring manager is okay to sponsor visa for this position. By the way position was "Legal Billing Program Manager"-L4 position. I am little skeptical whether they will consider my prifike for further processing. Anyone experience the same with Google?#h1b #h1b

It's a cost to that BU and depends on the manager of the manager is okay to hire H1 candidates based on timing and to spend money upfront.

Huh really? It comes from team budget?

H1 = there is lack of citizens with that talent - if that position has a lot of demand from citizens why would an h1 get the job ?

That’s just bullshit formality. Do you really think no American can replace the thousands of foreigners in all these companies?

It's purely supply and demand. Sure, there are Americans who can replace an immigrant candidate but will they match up to the skill level? Mostly likely not.
