Hi, I recently joined a new company (almost 6 months ago). And everything is going well. But I am also very interested in serving in military so enlisted in the army reserves. In few months, I will be leaving for basic training and all for 18 weeks. So, while I am very excited about this but at the same time, I am feeling very nervous on how to break the news to my manager. I know the job is protected but I am kinda feeling guilty.Like just last week, I was discussing with my manager about the plans for rest of the year but back of my mind, I was also freaking out. How should I handle this? #tech #military
Thank you for your service! Be politely honest with your manager now and tell them what support you need for this temporary departure. Cheers!
Military... Lol! Better be real with yourself and stop wasting precious time. Move to a better company instead.
Time is money
Hope you don’t kill any innocent people regardless of which military You decide to join.
