The other day I had a brief interview via Microsoft Teams with a recruiter and was given an aptitude test to take. In spite of not performing well I was told that I “passed” and was sent a contract & W9 form to sign via Docusign. I don’t have much experience in tech and have been taking the ‘self-taught’ route for the past 6 months or so. However, when they sent me their curriculum and an offer to take a 10 week training course on Java, SDET/Selenium, etc. it seemed like it would be too good of an opportunity to pass up. Here’s the caveat: If I join I’ll be locked into a 15 month contract and have to be willing to move anywhere in the continental United States. I’m actually fine with this, but I don’t know how I’d be able to afford to move even with the moving stipend they’re providing. I’m sort of a planner, so not being able to plan my move ahead of time is sort of stressing me out. TLDR: I got an offer from Quintrix to work for their Client, Cognizant, and I want to know if leaving my job and moving to a new place will be worth it for my career. TC: $59,750
Perhaps ask for moving expense coverage as part of the offer?

My bad. Fixed!
Cognizant is part of the WITCH firms which have a really bad rep, even with your current TC, not sure if you should leave for them, you might be better off continuing on your hunt
