Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
Reddit is on a tear and is growing ridiculously fast. Our aggressive plans and authentic culture make it a very, very attractive place to work. I'm hiring for my team and I can refer you to all open positions. DM with a LinkedIn for a referral! PS: You can work anywhere you want in the US and get paid HCOL rates. TC for E6?
IC6 is Principal level at Reddit. IC5 is Staff. There are too many variables to give direct numbers, but assuming you crush your interviews, then depending on the org, we'd try to beat on base and aim to make TC very compelling at IPO.
Sounds low then.
DM’ed
I had a really poor experience interviewing. It was the initial tech screen. Out of the 60 mins, we solved 2 problems in 40 mins. The interviewer seemed to be satisfied with both solutions. So, we just chatted for the remaining 20 mins. Generic rejection email next day and recruiter ghosted. Wonder what happened there
My experience was like this too. I had a part that was random networking questions though which I answered decently but wasn't well prepared for off the top of my head. The interviewer was super friendly so I wouldn't say my experience was poor but I didn't like the interview format or misleading results when I answered the questions relatively well and solved the coding problem in like 15 mins.
I’m really interested why you would want anyone who uses blind to work for you.
That's a very valid question. It is a bit risky since Blind tends to optimize almost entirely for TC, almost to the point where nothing else matters. But my reasons are: 1. I trust our recruiting team. 2. I already work with people on Blind. I'm on Blind. We can't all be bad. :)
What are the frontend eng interviews like?
The onsite would include programming and system design questions, but with a lean toward FE. Cross-functional and hiring manager conversations would be the same.
So still leetcode but with a frontend lean?
Can you guys stop pushing the stupid live stream garbage down our throats please. Thanks.
Why do I have to keep seeing that guy with the strip goatee
Any ML jobs to apply to?
Absolutely! https://www.redditinc.com/careers
Would visa sponsorship be an issue?
Same question.
Same question
what's the typical timeline from first interview to offer?
Anywhere from a few weeks to over a month or so.
