With Shein’s announcement yesterday, is Reddit in the mix with an imminent IPO filing? When contacted, a Reddit spokesperson told TechCrunch via email that the company is in a quiet period and cannot comment. https://techcrunch.com/2023/11/27/reddit-might-once-again-be-flirting-with-an-ipo/ TC: 300k
I can speak from an internal perspective that yes we do very much suck. Been trying to IPO for years and our valuation keeps plummeting. Performance here is subpar and it shows on our app. We’re just Twitter 2.0
Lmao this guy has been posting negative comments on our internal blind for weeks now. Dude definitely no longer works at the company. Reddit is fine, the culture is pretty awesome (obviously team dependent), fully remote and we have had user growth.
Yes but I don't use it anymore without reddit is fun. I miss it :(
My interviews with them were a disaster. Seemed like a really poorly run company
Morale has been pretty good here over the last few months and I’ve really enjoyed working here - I know people have varying experiences but I truly do love the app and I’m grateful to work on something I’ve used since I was like 13 years old. How will the IPO do? Who knows - certainly not as good as it would’ve been in 2020

What do you think is wrong with a kid who got rejected by 9 colleges?
They’re just trying to exit before the app completely stops working. I swear the bugs get worse every month.
