I received an offer from Reddit for Senior Software Engineer FE. Recruiter told me on initial call that the team is on fence for me for Senior and Staff. How difficult is to have that conversation with Reddit to uplevel based on current role and experience. Current Role: L6 FEE@Amazon Reddit Offer: Base: 250K RSUS: 7000 units ($10B valuation) Signin: $30000 How does this offer stand in general for a Reddit offer and need guidance on upleveling conversation.

Yea snap market cap is like $16bil and no way Reddit is pulling close to that

Yeah I just asked recruiter that I am letting go some of my unvested equity. Probably I will be negotiating around sign on too. Do you happen to know if upleveling is possible at Reddit?
You can def ask but it's almost entirely based on interview performance. HM can't uplevel alone - you may need additional interviews but I'm not sure we do that.

Base puts you at the high end of the senior band, definitely positioning you for a quick promotion to Staff if you do well the first year.
Yeah the recruiter said it was a high end of senior or staff. I was more looking for a staff. I want to fight for staff to begin with.
What is the value of their share according to current valuation? Is it $60+ or lesser?
I see lot of recent posts on Fidelity slashing their value? Are they still giving offer on higher valuation?
