Reddit was calculating employee TC at $64 a stock. And now they are going to IPO at 31-34. Employees will probably be able to sell at like 25 because the stock is going to drop at open. I almost took the Reddit offer in 2021. Phewwww!!! Sorry guys.
Probably worse than that implies. What strike in price were you given?
Idk has a good chance to be a WSB meme stock. 🚀🌕
Ahem
I remember a few months ago Reddit employees here were all drinking koolaid thinking they were gonna be rich at ipo
That ship has sailed since 2012 or so.
I left the company last summer I kept telling people the IPO would be a disappointment
Deserved for ruining what was once a good site. Go woke go broke
Agree they ruined the site. Struggling to understand how charging for API calls constitutes going "woke" though.
Is the woke in the room with us now Nvidia?
Go woke go broke
🥱 Dumb conservatives have nothing useful to add to any conversation besides stupid phrases they saw online.
How did Reddit go woke though?😂
Private employees with equity worth more than $0 is lucky!
True, but, when negotiating, they say we will match your competitors offer as the Reddit stock price is considered $64. I get your point though.
pre-IPO stock is a lotto ticket
What was it before that? Also, when is the earliest you are allowed to sell? Is it after IPO on Day 1 or can you sell earlier?
Can reddit employees buy puts as a hedge? Or is that also blocked by blackout or holdup period?
I'm sorry but I can't hear you over all these puts I'm about to buy
if a Put falls in the market and there is no one around to hear it crash, does it make any sound?
Can’t buy puts for like 6 months though
