I have my Reddit onsite coming up for staff iOS role. I have 2 "iOS design/architecture" rounds and one "design/architecture". Asked recruited about what will be there in the "design/architecture" but didn't get enough data. Can anyone tell what I should expect for that? Is that a backend system design? thx, YOE 8, TC 370K #reddit
I heard reddit pays pretty low. The recruiter tried to low ball me before onsite and say can’t match fb
Reddit matched FB for me. But I'm not in US so YMMV.
@hello.mars, do you know what’s the general design and architecture interview is about?
expect an iOS component project, for me some UI specific stuff (impression timer on tableview), some architecture (handling timing of async response), standard behavioral and a general sys design which required websockets
@JNfb20 if you mind answering - do you think you can share what sort of questions (in the realm of architecture) you were asked?
Could you share your experience please 🙏?
Not sure but if you want a client focused interview loop, we’re hiring at Snap. DM me if you are interested.
How are mobile sys design rounds at snap? I have an onsite coming up
