I have a technical interview with Reddit coming up in a few weeks. Any general ideas on what to expect for the coding round? The recruiter mentioned it wasn't going to be the typical leetcode sort of thing, but something more practical. The interview is still hosted over coderpad though, so idk how practical the interview could reasonably be. Should I just expect something like a leetcode medium, but sort of worded in a way that makes it more relevant for Reddit's domain? The phone interview followed a similar format.
Is this for a frontend role? For backend interviews, we typically do ask leetcode like questions. Also, I don't think anyone around here is asking DPs or LC hards.
It's a back end role yeah. Okay, so basically just do more leetcode prep then with an emphasis on medium/easy difficulty?
Pretty much. Tbh, you should be mostly prepared to handle the technical bar if you can handle a single medium in 45m. From there, I would focus more on your system design skills and being ae to tell compelling stories about yourself.

Question about women in their 30’s?
Practical usually means it won’t be a tricky coding problem but a clean and functional implementation with different cases would be expected from the problem.
