I understand that Reddit is a remote-first company. But does it offer some exclusive perks/benefits to employees who come to the office? For example, is the free food exclusive to the office or do remote workers get level of meal reimbursement? How about Gym, etc? Does the office offer commuters transport benefits or free electrical car charging? Thanks! #wfh #remotework #hybrid
Snap does if your home office does not have a cafe
Is Reddit likely to ipo and are they even doing well financially? I heard their growth has become flat.
It is flat, if not slightly trending negative.
There’s annual reimbursement for gyms (upto a limit but that’s very generous). There’s free food at offices but it’s not like google or FB. Some amount of commute expense is covered each month.
How different is the free food from G/FB? Variety, quantity or quality? Quality at G isn't good anymore (below what you can eat at a typical restaurant). In the past (like 7+ years ago), G's quality was unmatched.
Also what kind of commute expenses are covered? Do they cover gas or electrical charging fees? Or just public transportation/pooling contributions?
No office exclusive perks, apart from catered breakfast and lunch. All other perks are common for all employees (specifics depend on the country) The allowances are substantial...

Our office doesn’t have a gym, but has free food. Lol to subsidizing lunch for people wfh, even during covid. How spoiled have we become?
I guess Reddit doesn't subsidize food for wfh people, does it?
Heard they do that at Snap.
