May I know the TC offered for entry level ML engineer position?

I am also in the same situation. I have 7 years of experience as Senior Statistical Programmer and with the interest in DS field, pursued Master's in DS and now looking for a job change. But very much confused which area to choose as DS filed is diverse (like ML, Applied scientist, Data Scientist and many more that I am not aware of). My thought is to choose a filed that offer high pay and has standard career growth. Do you have any suggestions?
