Anyone know of opportunities in either Product or Growth Marketing/Brand Management at the big shiny startups most known for their Marketing teams...? Heard positive consensus about Amazon, Slack and Airbnb but would love to know if I've got it all wrong. 12 years experience in startup early stage growth marketing, marketing strategy, product management; 7 years running agile in-house startup marketing teams including the UX/UI designer development and full stack development teams. I've been described a few times now as an "Operator" so work has certainly pushed me well beyond Marketing to button up overdue projects and cross-department mis or total lack of communication---you guys know the drill. I excel in adult feelings management and securing cross-team buy-in and inclusion to deliver and ship quicker. Looking for senior/management roles at startups best known for their marketing teams' caliber and how they are valued or viewed within the org (e.g. Amazon Marketing seems to be completely from Oracle). Currently youngest director and only minority female on the leadership team at my role now. Almost fully vested this spring so looking to move this year onto something new after 4 years of running nonstop toward that unicorn club and we finally made it from 220m valuation in 2017 and managed to land that $1b+ in total private valuation last year. Anyways, I'm tired and burntout but ready to get back to a new grind under a more reputable brand and maybe learn from someone for once it possible. Mentorship and career development would be cool too from my employer for a change😔 Thanks in advance!!! #marketing #startups #nowhiring #referral #growth #branding #amazon #airbnb #slack
