How big are the balls of Google to lay off thousands and then do 70 BILLION in stock buyback?
I found out Monday that I was rejected after an on-site. I’m ok now but Monday was brutal. Rejections suck and more so when they have no feedback to offer. The interview with the hiring manager did not go well, I sensed that he didn’t like me and wasn’t all that keen on interviewing me but all the others went much better so I thought I had a chance. The hiring manager mentioned several times during the interview that he didn’t think my background aligned with the role. If he thought so, why did he invite me onsite? Is this a normal occurance at Amazon? I was initially interviewing for another role but that was filled and the recruiter said this other manager is wanting to interview me for another role. I dont understand why he selected me and called me in if he didn’t think I was a fit! Such a waste of time!
Usually they will do that to see if you are excelling in other Rounds so that they can send it to different teams
So did you end up getting an offer then?
Way to go! Were you also interviewing for the SFA role initially?
