Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
Would Google blacklist me if reject them? How do I reject them gracefully so that they would still consider me in the future? I would want to go to Google eventually but for now I believe other offer would provide more growth. Has anyone rejected google and later gone back? TC: 245k #google #rejection #offer
I rejected them. 6 months later they called me asking to uplevel me. It's perfectly fine. In fact your Google offer is valid for up to a year or so. Just tell them another opportunity came.
Thank you!
Is this offer validity same for hardware and software both?
you won't get blacklisted
Unless you burned the bridge (i.e. accepted the offer and ghosted them), you'll be fine and probably even look appealing to a recruiter since you've passed the interviews before.
You’ll be fine. My recruiter still re-engages every 6 months.
Say we accepted an offer from Google and later got a better offer. Can we go back and ask them to match the new offer?
Unfortunately No. They will not only rescind the offer but also blacklist you from ever applying again. This is against Googlyness principal.
Can you prove this Amazon? Idk if they will blacklist just because someone was able to upsell them.
Here, this works for me - "I am sorry to inform that there has been some changes in my personal circumstances and regretfully accepting this offer will not be conducive to it. I really wanted to work for xyz but at this time I am forced to let this opportunity go. I thank you for all the time and wonderful experience and would love to be part of this amazing group and company at a later point in my career. Thank you again for understanding and opportunity"
Both side have same rights, anyone can reject anyone (you or GGL). So no worry you both are open to consider each other in future. Just do professionally, with integrity. That’s it.
I turned google down twice before accepting an offer the third time around. You’ll be fine.
I accepted the offer and then declined, cause the job I wanted were two days late. Talked to the hiring manager who was cool with it, recruiter less so. Forget being bkacklisted, turns out Google added me to a list of people so they check in with every year to see if I want to come there in some role
Have you accepted their offer? If yes, then you won’t be able to go back after you rescind
Have not signed but originally it was the only offer I had so I told them I will be joining them
If you haven’t signed the offer letter, you are good. You can go back any time in next 1 year without interview.
