As I understand, for resigning I will have to apply on Allsec portal. Can anybody HR/ex-employee in community help me answer this: 1. Post applying on Allsec portal, will it still need any approval from Manager or HR, of the moment I apply my notice period starts. 2. Can they give me reasons to delay my resign given the business priorities etc. I don't want to stay longer as my offer letter says I just have to serve 1 month notice. 3. I don’t think amazon will reveal if a employee is fired for performance reasons. But make sure you are not in LinkedIn connection with your manager. As you know some recruiter might check randomly with your connections in LinkedIn.
1. Yes, your manager needs to approve your date of resignation on AllSec. You can talk to him/her and decide on the exit date. 2. No, they cannot force you to stay for more than a month. 3. Background verification is only done to check if the person was an employee or not. Good companies won't ask such stupid questions.
Even if they ask, Amazon won't say you were fired or disclose performance issues. So no worries
