Tried to get a promotion. After a lot of arguments with manager, he gave me what I asked. Got offered 25% low pay than what I asked as well as my peers. So I asked why the low pay? And I told him the salaries in other teams with exact same JD based on H1B filings and he disagreed saying what I was offered is midpoint of his range. Got a call from director saying he got complaints from people that I was asking people their salaries and they got uncomfortable and told him that I need to stop. This goes against the company culture blah blah.. I don’t know who the FUCK is he talking about since I was using H1bdata.info and didn’t speak to anyone?? But since I’m on VISA I didn’t say anything. My boss then said I need to do PiP and then he would reevaluate my promotion after 6mo since I rejected the offer the first time. Fast forward: After the call I started looking and I got 4 offers 25% more than what they offered. My boss is now offering me the promotion even though I haven’t announced my resignation yet. He says he couldn’t find experienced people so was asking if I’d take it? He asked me twice so far. My visa got approved today. When I resign, Do I tell him about the false allegations made by the director that actually made me serious about leaving? Or just leave and say nothing?? Quit and move on. It will be messy if you start talking. Ppl Paths always crossed in the future. This is what would do if I am in your shoes.
As far as I can tell, mentally you’ve already crossed the bridge and are getting ready to burn it. Don’t burn it, but don’t cross back either.
No. Fuking burn it to the ground and stomp on it. There's a time and place for the high road, this is not it.
Quit and move on. You would need their help for your GC filing for experience letters and all.
Maybe it's best to quit and move on, but personally I don't think I could resist. I hate people who lie to your face like that and I'd call it out.
Move on. Be kind when leaving, don’t burn bridges
they might have given you a raise rn because they don't have a choice but in future they may not be supportive
Quit and move on Too much drama, it is like an abusive relationship
There is no upside to saying that your Dir lied. Shake hand and quit. If you're on visa then you will need their help with letters for GC filing.
Name and shame. These people need to be held accountable.

Quit and move on.
Why move on, wrong people need to get lessons, otherwise they will keep doing wrong. Not covertly harmful to someone, but they should be looked in the eye and told they were wrong.
If you stay, you’ll be retaliated. It is very common because trust is lost. And you never marry a company, ok to quit next day. It is the management problem not yours. Time to penalize the evil management
