The one that’s on the beach in Pacifica is fancy

How you define “best”? Historic “Buck’s” if it’s still there. Or less American cuisine? I-Shanghai Delight, Shalala Ramen sort of ones.

Hahaha! I love these “best cheap” posts.

I've only been in the bay area for a month and I get a kick out of them. There is nothing "cheap", and for the money spent none of it is "good". Bay Area is claimed to be some kind of food mecca. So far I haven't found a single restaurant to back that up. My previous home in MI has better food at half the price. I'll be cooking more often than I go out.

Bay Area sucks bro. It’s only on Blind that people are losing their shit. You want good food move to LA or NYC. SF has some decent spots, but I haven’t been to SF in the last 2 years since all hell broke lose.

I had a good experience at faultline brewery, it's not super cheap but it's not crazy expensive either

Well grocery prices also increased a lot so it makes sense. Try going to Farmers markets, they offer good pre-made food. Ramen places are very affordable
