My resume is getting rejected every time at Google (with referral), and I don't know the reason behind it. I think I have a good resume, with a masters from among the top college and good work experience at MS over 2+ years. Is there anyone who can help me understand what are the don'ts in resume, when applying at Google. If someone can review the resume and help me understand that would be really helpful. #engineering #software #swe #hrissues
I can review. You might want to change personal details like name to "John Smith" and share
What if OP is john smith 🤔
Can I share a link to my resume somewhere not TeamBlind?
Headcount is low for l3/l4.
When did you apply? For pretty much all of 2020 headcount has been low and not sure if 2021 is any better. I’ve also gotten my resume flat out rejected in the past even though I was an ex-intern and Google kept reaching out to me to apply again lol
Low head count = more opportunity to join? Or Google is keeping it low?
Less
Same. I also just got a rejection today even though I had Google interview in college with a much worse resume and no work experience. I am assuming Google is just having headcount issues at the moment. It's a real shame because I really prepped hard for this.
Post your resume if you want us to review it
I can send you that over DM
Can I send my resume to you on another platform (not TeamBlind)?
I'm launching a resume builder tool for tech roles and would love beta testers to help us improve! In exchange for up to 30 mins of your time, I can review your resume line by line. If interested please sign up at https://calendly.com/learnable-beta/uxr.
Any more luck lately? Mine also got rejected, I had 2 strong referrals.
Following.. mine was rejected recently as well.
When? Also at resume stage?
