Hi all, I want to apply for 2021 new grad roles in the coming months. I am targetting Europe locations and currently a CSE grad in India. I would love some feedback on my resume. I have major doubts on 2 sections - 1) Technologies and skills - Are the sub-sections okay? Is the positioning okay? I have personal projects on around ML and NLP but have decent backend development experience from past internships and am targetting SWE roles. 2) Experience section #swe #resume #software #engineering
Remove interests section . Also please remove xml schema . Everybody should know it.
Thanks! Will take note:)
Try to add impact of your internships projects. Like accuracy of your anomaly detector or how you improved it from previous one.
Thanks! Will add details
If you're going to list your GPA, you should also show the scale. i.e. 8.52/10 or whatever the scale is.
Alright! Will add. Thanks
Also, I am a 2021 grad, 2020 in the education section is a typo made while editing out the details:)
Publishing papers and patent aren't a big deal at all. 12th graders are publishing ML papers. You probably rejected them because of your lifelong insecurity and saltiness , dreaming for a payback since your JEE rank was bigger than your bank balance. From what I have seen IITians make much less fuss about IIT than dimwits like you , who have IIT living rent-free in their heads. It seems you need to make a new rental agreement. Tell me something, did you go to IIIT Hyderabad ?
Ah , the no name college guy who went YOU ES A . You must be popular among your friends whose life was a waste for not making it into IIT. It is 2020. So go to bed and wake up in 2060 and you will still be B*tthurt. Seems like rejecting those people was the zenith of your career. Do tell your kids about this. Why are you so ashamed of naming your college while you name drop CMU , Amazon and Google? I do futuristic stuff at Uber , stuff your little mind will find unfathomable. We have our own budget and are largely immune to layoffs (not totally though). And yes , I go to CVPR (not IEEE crap). Besides , I didn't go to IIT. I studied at Princeton and Cal (ever heard of them). But the fact that you are bullying a 20 year old's resume by calling him a jerk for going to IIT , speaks volumes about your lowliveliness.
Arre Jane Doe yaar
Tbh I don’t think the technologies and skills section matter
Experience first. Then education. Integrate key projects into “experience” section. Add numbers to projects - 20% increase, decrease etc. Maybe a placeholder for a blurb at top as space for rewording whatever the job description says. Good clean design otherwise, easy to follow. I’d keep it
Thanks for the feedback! Will change
Take your address out and put a website instead of it. Also make a website
Thanks for the feedback! Will try to make one.
Also, could you possibly review the technologies and skills section?
