So I requested the paperwork to request an accommodation to go work from home due to having to take immune suppressants and having diabetes, and the sheer volume of covid exposures in our office. They denied providing me the proper forms to have my doctor fill out, at first, called me into a meeting and downright told me that the request was denied (that i haven’t submitted yet) and that If I wanted to quit it would be understandable. It was pretty terrifying how stern they were about it. In the two days sense I’ve been coached once, and threatened with a writeup, and being served documentation. It feels like targeted harassment but sense HR coordinated the meeting and brought all this to light- it feels like I have no one to turn to and I don’t know what to do. Should I call a lawyer??
Yes. And keep copies of everything in writing. If they say something, put it in an email in writing.

Are you in a state that requires 2 party consent to record conversations? If not, record all future conversations moving forward for evidence.

Yeah-most lawyers have a free consultation where you can tell them your side of things and they can tell you if you have a case. Another resource would be the EEO. They have local offices and you can contact them as well. A coworker used the EEO in Chicago because he got some hate from a manger over being Asian and they handled everything
