I have an upcoming interview with a company called retool. Very curious to know their expertise, how they are doing and work culture. Appreciate the info. #interview #retool
Got a demo from them recently. Great product and the team looked solid. Long term this may turn out to be solid. Good luck.
Thank you. Appreciate the information. I’ll know more when the hiring manager calls
May be a bit biased, but internally I’d say the culture is very optimistic for good reason. Lots of growth, awesome product, and the next couple years are going to be exciting. By far the brightest and most enjoyable coworkers of my career.
Thank you for the feedback. I have had a good experience so far as well. My on-site is scheduled later this month and the HR asked for some unique things like hobbies, top fun facts etc. look forward to it
Could I dm you about a referral for a position? I’m qualified so I’d greatly appreciate it
Recent hire at Retool here. Culture seems very optimistic, driven, and generally tight knit. Very customer-driven, and everyone is a fan of the product itself. In fact, tons of folks I've talked to were users before applying. They're doing great business wise. New clients onboarding every day, unit economics make sense, and growth tactics both in marketing and engineering are playing out nicely. Overall I'm really excited about the team, the product, and the business. How far along are you in the process now? How's it been?
My on-site is in a couple of weeks. Can I dm you ? I’m very curious about what happens in the on-site loop. Also, We have not talked about TC, so it may give me some insight. Irrespective I’m still very keen on working there. My role is in the product marketing team.
Sure DMs open!
OP have you learned more about the team culture? Any insight into TC for non-tech roles? Interviewing there for a content marketing position soon 🤞
Everyone is very optimistic about the product. I interviewed for product marketing and learned that they’re looking for tactical stuff rather than strategic. Stress that you’re a doer and not a “manager”
Bonus advice- also actually be a “doer” that is able to build foundations to iterate on
Worked there. The product is going to be big!
DMed you, OP!
