Revenue reporting = paid by customer?

Are those revenue numbers shared by Google, Microsoft yesterday already paid by customers before quarter ends? Coming from a startup background we used to report revenue and it would take an average of 100 days to get the check from the customer. Coco-cola renewed M365 contract for $1.1B last week. Does that mean they cut a check for that amount already or Microsoft will get the money over time?
