You won't find anything like this on delivery apps. Two and three star Michelin restaurants are an experience that is easily worth $300 a person or more. I have had delicious meals even in cuisines I usually avoid.
What does that mean exactly? What experience?
It really depends on the restaurant. I had a dinner at Paris Pierre Gagnaire (3 stars when I went, not sure now) and it was so so for $1k euro for 2. Then I went to some places with 2 stars for less than $300 for 2 for lunch and they blew my expectations.
Next you’re going to tell me that some chefs are better than others. Where can I pay for your sage advice?
Is 300 per person including tips or more like $400 with tips?
Agreed! Michelin star places are great. Some advice: visit high end dining places in developing countries for a much lower price tag, but similar quality and likely more interesting food. I wouldn't pay $500/person in Paris, but I would pay $100-200 in Latin America or SE Asia.
Have you read the history of Michelin Star? How anyone would think it's legit after reading that is beyond me.

Your mom is worth it (her food)
people living in India love to say what’s overrated in the USA lol
420 + McD >>>>>>>> Michelin
420 is illegal at the federal and international levels. McD hits the spot when you know you want it. Michelin hits the spots you didn't know you had, when you didn't know you were wanting it.
stfu and try.
