Right career move to go to Series B start up as a new grad?
Series B start up in Toronto. Doing well, growing fast, I like the culture. Series B was this year @ >$100M. Debating whether it's the right career move to go there as a new grad SWE if there is a recession upcoming. TC: 0(student)
Recession lmao, we are in one of hottest market right now, I doubt it will cool anytime soon
The real question is if you have other offers or not. If not, then why be so choosy?
That is exactly when you should join a startup. In best case, it succeeds, and your career grows with the company. In worst case, you get a great learning opportunity, which will be much better for your future career than starting at lowest levels in FAANG.
