Any insight on base salary range and target bonus % for a senior manager (non tech) role? Read conflicting posts on Blind. Just curious on if they can be competitive TC wise. Do they issue rsu’s? Or is it just base + bonus?
Riot does a yearly bonus where it's n amount times a multiplier, which is determined by the company as how well they're doing (there are many different factors they use to evaluate this). So it's the bonus plus base. I never saw a negative multiplier in the many years I was there. Bonus pays out in March. Riot is good in compensation for the gaming industry. Doesn't compare to tech industry comp, though. Recruiters are very nice and should work with you on your needs, and can explain everything I just said, as well. Source: Used to work there, midlevel technical product manager, 130k base + 10K pre-multiplier bonus Would recommend working there if you're a gamer.
Thanks. Still early in the process so didn’t want to bring up comp just yet.
No way they are matching anything Google management provided as far as comp. Gaming loves to cut your salary and claim you are doing it for ‘the love of gaming’. They also then love to layoff people when they dont hit their numbers and it is clear execs arent in it for ‘the love’, so why should you?
I think they pay in cash + balltaps rather than RSU's.
Nothing like a good balltap from time to time. 😂
