For anyone following the case, what are your predictions for the outcome? Lastly, do you think XRP is worth investing in? IMO, This case has shined an unflattering light on the SEC and the mystery surrounding what qualifies as security. The technology is there in terms of XRP capabilities. The rate and price in which currency is exchanged is superior to BTC.
Superior to Btc in two areas perhaps but definitely less secure, more centralized, hoarded by founders, and the list goes on. Bitcoin is the superior asset, all other alt coins will fall
I can agree with that I’ve read several article that ties Ripple back to government entities. IMO, I’m starting to think this is a play for the gov to get into the market discreetly in the event Ripple can beat the SEC. Much like alcohol, marijuana the gov is always going to enforce harsh laws on things they can’t regulate. I also think it’s strange that Ripple who has little to no brand presence has the resources and backing to fight this battle as long as they have.

Ripple is focused in providing infrastructure for crossborder payments with Xrp , you are comparing a company with the currency. The competitor of ripple is swift, not Bitcoin.
