With the Adobe acquisition underway, feels there is risk the higher Figma salary will be downgraded to Adibe salary. Not sure how common that is with acquisition. Also curious about the risk of layoffs post acquisition to prevent folks that are pending the 1 year cliff
Its probably the other way around. If acquisition doesnโt go through, the rsus drop in value by 50%.
Yeah also thought about thatโฆ
No point joining now. You'll be the only non-millionaire in the office
Heard itโs a super toxic environment fwiw. And I say this as a Meta employee.

Not sure where you heard that ๐ค from a ex-meta person?
Ask that you can't get terminated without cause in the first 24 months. Depending on your level, it may be accepted
It is not unusual that comp plans are adjusted as part of the acquisition and you could end up with less when they adjust job levels and orgs. Could take a year or two for them to sort that out. Adobe's CEO has been vocal about not doing layoffs but reorgs are common I am told. So plan for your two year honeymoon and then see where you are at.
Who?
I joined recently and it was the best career decision ever
Can you refer me? Saw that they put up a bunch of new roles
