After hearing the RobinHood CEO on CNBC/Yahoo Finance, I realized this is the most shady company to work with. He deflected all questions asked to him. Anyways, I am looking for Robinhood alternatives, especially that have cheap margin rates. I am fine with reasonable fees on the trades since I trade just few times a month, but margin rates is the key.
Interactive brokers
Damn i like their margin rates. Do you have first hand experience of using their platform?
They also blocked GME trading
Read some post from employee that they got calls for Whitehouse too. So he is just a scapegoat, tried to cover up with some volatility and protecting customers BS
I saw the interview....I dont think this is some big conspiracy. But I do think the CEO was using customer protection as a more palatable excuse than RH protection...in other words, it sounded to me like he didnt want to admit the company isnt financially capable of handling the requirement around this concentrated volume in single volatile securities...or maybe no broker is...dunno.
Fidelity. One of the few that hasn't done anything shady with regards to GME
Their margin rates are way to high for me.
