I have over $50k in investments and cash combined. I currently have $16k “withdrawable” cash but when I go to transfer this out — it says “Account withdrawal disabled.” How do I get around this? I’ve emailed support but I can’t afford to wait weeks to hear back. Anyone hit this issue before? I don’t use margin — never had. P.S: canceled my Gold account last week and hoping to get all my cash and investments out of RH sooner than later.
Try enabling gold again to see if that lets you withdraw and then cancel it immediately. There seems to be some bugs regarding restrictions of deposits/withdrawals with/without gold
Already tried.
Wow same!! My account is frozen with 2k left in cash and won’t let me withdraw. Have to open an email support ticket which is going to take forever.
Not looking good
Just do a Fidelity assets transfer. I did the same and got my money out of RH in 2 days
You were able to transfer while having the same problem?
No I did not try to transfer directly to my bank account because it would mean I gotta pay taxes on my realized gains. So, I just transferred all Cash between brokerages. As far as I know that would not cause any tax implications
Andddddd they strike again
As soon as Fidelity and Schwab went zero commission people should have transferred their assets out of RH that same day. Much better service, better trading tools, and far more solid financially. Thank them for bringing zero commission everywhere (actually Zecco was earlier), but they've done their job. Schwab even has an asset transfer bonus going on. 100k assets = $500 free money, credited to your account in about 45 days. You need a referral code though, but you can easily find that on Google.
Heard back after 10 days and they finally addressed my concern. It’s time to move my assets somewhere else.
I am having the same issue. I have 3K and when i try to withdraw i get the message - Error Account withdrawal disabled. any idea how to fix this issue?
