Are Robinhood's days numbered? What value do they provide users besides cheap trades & bad executions*? *I assume executions @ Robinhood suck because they sell your orders to the venues that pay them the most instead of those who give their clients the best prices. Open to rebuttals.

You’ll know they’re done for sure when Schwab brings back its commissions.
Robinhood is disrupting the financial domain, and traditional banks don't like it. As Greta said, "Change is coming, whether you like it or not".
lol i saw the scwab announcement 👏 I got the app right after, how is the ux/u8 tho?
They provide a good app but the competition is catching up
If they can make money with 0 commissions for a lot of novice traders it's great. And if you are buying for long term with small $ amounts 0 commissions is worth bad order routing. I don't see them having an issue surviving, just an issue continuing to grow market share.
All routing by law must provide the best price. Please stop spreading misinformation
Where is the extra payment for order flow coming from, if not the price?
Also... brokers have no obligation to route to the best middle man as far as I know.
Robinhood receives the same rebate rate from all of their market makers, so there's no incentive to route based on revenue. And on that note, Schwab also gets PFOF revenue. Glad to see that you're cutting your commission fees! Truly happy to be democratizing the financial system, even if it means more competition. And hey, it'll be fun to find new ways to disrupt the industry.
Huh
Like most tech startups the board will fire the wiz kids and bring in adult supervision. I don’t think they’re done though.
