I’m looking to switch over to another trading platform. What do you guys use?
4000 shares of MSFT are waiting to be claimed https://act.webull.com/actv2/ral/szMey1BHrEkA/yp2/recommend_1818_A_push/
Made in China, hand over your ssn to them
Fidelity, it allows you to choose which slots to sell to you can better plan your tax accordingly. Actually any real broker will do. Try avoid day trading and wash sale
I use a CPA. I think it's worthwhile to spend 50-70 bucks on a CPA rather than wasting a couple of hours, and also saves you from liability in case you're audited. Besides, Robinhood enables you to quickly enter and exit trades with a couple of taps so I'm okay with the single big 1099.
you’re not wrong it is nice to be able to cash out/in almost immediately
You’re still on the hook for correct taxes, irrespective of who prepares them
