Benchling - $60/hr + $6k housing (concerned about comp, and how polished the intern program is) Roblox - $62/hr + $10k housing (concerned about not getting a return offer and company size) Google - ??? in project matching (concerned about comp, return offer / hiring freeze) Other companies I am interviewing with are as follows. I don’t know if I should even continue, let me know if there are any i should too please :). Duolingo, Asana, Figma, Expedia, Juniper Networks and Workiva. Thanks so much for any pointers I really don’t know what to do or what matters. ❤️ #swe #roblox #google #internship #help
Definitely Benchiling. Why would anyone take the others over Benchiling
Why is that an obvious choice?
he’a trolling, take Google and call it a day. good job buddy
Take the 2 non-google ones. :)
you have a lot of concerns.....
i am a concerned guy 😰
Why are you concerned about Roblox?
Guessing something to do with 📉📉📉
they give return offers to 50% of interns even if you are heavily recommended to be hired by your manager. there are a lot of worrying posts about it. Also there are some glassdoor reviews and some friends of mine saying some teams are not great to work for.
Why do they pay by hour
they are internships
Once you get Google on your resume your career will be set dude.
This is how to tell if someone never worked in Silicon Valley and never hired. Comments like this. OP's career is already set.
^Yah don’t listen to this guy. He still thinks working in Silicon Valley is important. People always crap on Google but behind scenes for both recruiters and hiring managers always see Google as a major positive.
