Which robot advisors do you recommend? I’m thinking Merril Edge, Fidelity go, wealthfront or betterment? Are there any perks for using one over the other? What is the expected yearly return from robot advisor? Would I be better off putting that money on VOO/QQQ/VTI etc? I’m a newbie to investing so I figured that those would be a good way to start. I’m planning on dropping 10-15K YOE: 4 TC: 130k
Taking out of Wealthfront will sell the etf stocks and then you need to buy again for the current value? Or you can simply transfer your holdings from Wealthfront to another brokerage?
Target dated funds have high expense ratio. Google 3 fund portfolio.. I split my investments between VOO,VGT and SCHD.
Not really, you can see here: https://investor.vanguard.com/investment-products/list/all?strategy=all_in_one Expense ratio is 0.08% which is very minimal. I guess it’s higher compared to VOO but it’s still so small that it’s not a big deal. Sounds like OP is willing to pay for convenience anyway.
Not useful, just put your money into a target date index fund in tax-advantaged accounts and a 3-fund Boglehead portfolio in brokerage accounts.
Thanks 🙏🏻 where can I open those accounts?
Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab are usually the top 3 brokerage firms, they also offer IRAs. They’re basically all the same, just pick your favorite color out of green/red/blue.
